We are thrilled to announce that Exmet Services OÜ has become the first company in Estonia to receive the prestigious Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) certification for our Welded and Surface Treated Steel Products.
As a steel services company in the construction and machine industry, we are committed to sustainability and reducing the environmental impact of our products.
The EPD certification is a globally recognized certification based on ISO standards that provides transparent and verified information about the environmental impact of a product throughout its lifecycle. Our EPD certification involved a comprehensive Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of our welded and surface treated steel products, which included the extraction of raw materials, manufacturing, transportation, use, and disposal.
This certification demonstrates our commitment to sustainability and transparency in our operations. Our customers can be assured that our products are environmentally responsible and meet the highest standards of environmental performance. Additionally, our EPD certification provides our customers with the information they need to make informed decisions about the environmental impact of the products they use in their projects.
We are proud to be among the few companies in our industry to receive the EPD certification, and we will continue to strive for excellence in sustainability and environmental performance.
